The Lions Club of Winchelsea

The 3rd of August saw Winchelsea Lions club hold a Spouses & Partners Dinner at the Winchelsea Tea Rooms in honour of the V2 District Governor, David Lowing, and his wife Marlene. David is a member of the Ararat Lions Club.

At a well-attended dinner, David was happy to present the Alan J Holding Community Service Award on behalf of the Winchelsea Lions Club, this year awarded to Merle Rigby for her contributions in all sorts of community organisations, such as the Hesse Hospital Op Shop. Merle is a long-term Winchelsea resident and a very worthy recipient.
